Trim Die Design

Our experienced designers use modern 2D and 3D design software to quickly transform your trim die needs into an efficient, cost-effective design.  This software allows us to start development even before we receive a sample casting, using your piece part drawing, 3D part model, and mold design. Our die designs provide an easy visualization of how the tool will operate, which simplifies the approval process for our customers.

After design approval, substantial work can be completed on the trim tool with minimal fitting required after actual sample castings are received.

Our state-of-the-art Solidworks and Surfcam systems can translate a wide range of data files:

  • Autocad(DXF and DWG)

  • IGES

  • PRO-E

  • Cadkey

  • Parasolid

  • Automotive formats
